The Four Chicago Stars, Illustrated

$ 120.00

Any Chicagoan knows that the city's flag isn't just a random mix of stars and stripes. This set of four prints highlights the depth of meaning behind each of the flag's four stars. It's a great way to remember the history that shaped this great city, from Fort Dearborn, to the Great Fire, through to the world's fairs of 1893 and 1933.

These make a great addition to a gallery wall or hallway; anywhere you need to fill out a space with a unique celebration of Chicago history.

Available as a 11" x 14" print in pigment ink on 80# acid-free cover stock paper. Signed and titled in pencil by the artist.

Celebrating Chicago's history

I stumbled across these illustrations at a FLATS art show a couple of years ago and instantly fell in love with them. I'm a Chicago alderman, and I wanted something that would celebrate the city and this fit the bill. The art pieces are in my living room and they put a smile on my face each time I open my front door and see them.
